How often Should I book a Massage?
How often you get a massage depends on your goals. If you're just looking for relaxation and to spoil yourself a little, you can get away with once a month or less. If you have chronic pain, a very active lifestyle, anxiety, regular headaches and the like you may benefit from more frequent visits. Especially when trying to work out "trigger points" or especially sore points often caused by overuse, being seen once a week for the course of a month or longer can provide much needed relief. Your sore body didn't get that way over one event, and neither will one massage fully resolve all your issues.
Do I need a deep tissue?
Most people who request a deep tissue in reality want a "firm" Swedish. They hope for firm pressure on a few key spots but are mostly coming to the table to relax. A true deep tissue will include deeper work on more than one area of the body, will often include multiple modalities than can elicit more intense sensation and usually are requested to help relieve a certain problem area or areas.
What happens if I I need to cancel?
Cancelling with at least 48 hours notice gives us the best chance of rebooking your time slot. If you must cancel within 24 hours we will charge the card on file 50% of your booked service to protect the income of our wellness providers. That said, we are happy to work with you. Emergencies happen, sickness happens, life happens. Just give as a call as soon as you can and we will try to fill your slot to prevent the cancellation fee.
